Google has launched a counter offensive against the Apple’s strangle hold on the mobile development world. Google is now pushing their open platform with the hopes that everyday regular users will develop applications for their platform. The tool was recently made public, which looks appealing and simple to use, is targeting individuals with little to no programming experience. This is all done with the hopes that this will help to narrow the gap between the number of applications that is offered on the Android marketplace and how many are available for the iPhone.
